Mansfield Middle School Teacher Spotlight – Ally Dake

At Mansfield Middle School, we have finished up our second great week of school. Our Middle School students have been absolutely tremendous. Each student has been engaged and working toward growth socially, emotionally, and educationally. The Middle School has had is best two weeks of any school year, due to great teachers, students, and parents at home.
Each week we are going to take an opportunity to spotlight some of those excellent people that make Mansfield Middle School so great. Our spotlight this week is on 5th and 6th grade lead math teacher Mrs. Ally Dake.
Mrs. Dake is in her third year teaching and first year at Mansfield Middle School. Mrs. Dake is actively enriching Middle School math curriculum with engagNY and a plethora or resource materials. Mrs. Dake works closely with Mrs. Martin to drive math student achievement. Mrs. Dake is a graduate of Hartford High School. Mrs. Dake has taught one year at Paris and one year at Lavaca before becoming a Tiger Math teacher. Mrs. Dake is mother of two Owen and Thea. Mrs. Dake is also married to Coach Keith Dake High School Basketball and Assistant Volleyball coach at Mansfield.
These are some of the items Mrs. Dake’s students are stating after their first two weeks of class.
5th Grade Student Presley Curry, “What I like about Mrs. Dake is, that she is super nice and she teaches very well.”
5th Grade Student Isabella Escalante, “She is fun and nice! She explains a lot of things very well.”
5th Grade Student Zoe Griffin, “I like Mrs. Dake because she is helpful.”
5th Grade Student Maylei Rogers, “She goes ovr our math to help us better understand it.”
5th Grade Student Winston Allison, “She is nice, she makes everything easier.”
5th Grade Student Drew Holland, “She is funny and I like her smile and she is good at teaching.”
We at Mansfield Middle School would like to thank Mrs. Dake for her time and care for our students at Mansfield Middle School. We also want to thank our tremendous students and parents for all of their support to help us grow lifelong learners at MMS.
