Anglers from across the area will gather at Hinkle Lake on Saturday, October 4, 2025, for the 6th Annual Chase Hale Memorial Fishing Tournament. The popular event honors the memory of Chase Hale and brings together the community for a day of fishing, fellowship, and friendly competition.

The tournament will begin at daylight and run until noon, with weigh-in and awards to follow. Plaques will be awarded for First Place and Big Bass, while cash payouts will be determined by the number of participating boats.

Entry fees are set at $50 per team, and lunch will be provided at the weigh-in for all participants.

The event is more than just a fishing competition—it is a way for the community to celebrate the life and legacy of Chase Hale of Scott County, Arkansas. Remembered for his love of the outdoors and time spent on the water, Hale left behind many friends and family who continue to honor him each year through this tournament. What began as a tribute has now grown into a beloved annual tradition that unites both avid fishermen and those who simply want to carry forward his memory.

Organizers encourage anglers of all skill levels to take part in this year’s event, which has become a lasting way to keep Chase Hale’s legacy alive in Scott County.
