The Hackett Board of Education met in a regularly scheduled meeting on October 14, at 7 p.m. Members present were Jackie Terrell, Deborah Buehrer, Patricia Black, Michael Sweeten, and Stephanie Holt.
After approving the minutes from the September meeting, the report to the public was given by Elementary Principal Tura Bailey, High School Principal Michael Freeman and Superintendent Edward Ray.
Sweeten made the motion to approve the 2019/2020 equity compliance report. Black seconded the motion and it carried 5-0.
Next, Holt made the motion to approve the legal transfer petition of a student to the Greenwood School District. Buehrer seconded the motion and it carried 5-0.
The board then voted unanimously to accept the resignations of Stormie Matlock and Eric White.
With no other items of business the meeting of the Hackett School District was adjourned.
