Coming off a strong win against the Charleston Lady Tigers on their home court, the Mansfield Lady Tigers couldn’t muster enough points to stay ahead when facing the Paris Lady Eagles Tuesday afternoon.
Paris beat the Tigers in straight sets with score of 25-5, 25-8, and 25-11.
Stats:
Kills: Weaver and Davis 2
Blocks: Brewer and shoell 1, Davis had 2 assisted blocks and 1 solo block
Digs: Weaver 5, Bolton 3
Head Coach Savanna Colbert stated, “This was our best blocking game we’ve had, and we were facing some of the best hitters in our conference. It was pretty exciting to see the potential that our blocks have. Our timing has gotten so much better at the net and were continuing to grow on that. We get a little bit better at different skills in every game we play and I’m so ready for it all to come together. It’s a really good feeling watching these players grow and I’m anxious for the future ahead of them.”
The Lady Tigers next game is against the Lady Hornets, at Hackett this Thursday. Games start at 4:00pm.
