Weather advisors had warned of the potential for strong storms today. With the percentage of rain lowering over the last few days, the threat was still imminent, especially with high winds.
Early afternoon, a front passed through the area with gusty winds, and strong rains. The winds caused many homeowners multiple problems with downed trees, and personal property scattered across neighborhoods, with some not knowing where things ended up.
The above image shows a tree that narrowly missed a house on Highway 378, falling between the house itself, and another tree with debris scattered across its roof, and yard. We were unable to reach the homeowner for damage assessment.
