The Mansfield City Council is again one alderman short as Buddy Black resigns his seat.
Black was a shoe in and filled the vacancy left by Nathan Sterling. Sterling resigned his seat abruptly during a heated council meeting in January.
However, after only a few months, ward two seat one is once again empty. Resident Press contacted Black for a statement regarding his resignation. “I had the best interest of Mansfield at heart in joining the city council, during my time on the council and now.”
Follow Resident Press as we report on who will be appointed to that position.
