The day three afternoon session of the Class 3A state basketball tournament is now in the books, and the last of the first round games in both the boys and girls brackets have been completed. The second round, or quarterfinals will begin tonight with a girls bracket quarterfinal at 7 p.m. followed by a boys bracket quarterfinal at 8:30 p.m.
The results of today’s final first round games that were played this afternoon are:

Osceola 76, Little Rock Episcopal 52
Mayflower 69, Bald Knob 62
