The Hackett City Council held it’s monthly meeting, Thursday January 19th, 2017.
Chief Spells gave the months police report followed by Fire Chief James McCutcheon. McCutcheon briefed the council on the tanker truck situation as well as the number of fire and EMS calls.
The water department provided the council with information on two water leaks on East Greenwood Street.
The council then approved the special events calendar for the year. Gary Grimes reported on the possibility of losing GIF funding for 2017-2018. A rezoning ordinance was approved unanimously for an area of Main Street.
The council also approved the funding for a new electronic marquee sign to be placed in front of city hall.
