Hackett City Council – May

It was a light agenda for the Hackett City Council meeting this month.
The council heard from the Police and Fire Departments for their monthly reports as well as the water department.  The Fire Chief gave the council an update on the new fire truck as well as the calls to service for the month.
Chief Spells and a representative from DCS communications spoke to the council about needed repairs to the tornado sirens.  The council approved the repairs and work on them should begin soon.  Once completed, the sirens will be able to be set off from Sebastian County Dispatch Control center or manually from a portable radio at the police department.
