On Wednesday, May 15, Hackett held a Bigger, Faster, Stronger training clinic for all Hornet athletes grades 6-11. BFS training is used in athletic programs all over the country as a tool to help increase speed, strength, and agility in student-athletes.
The mission of BSF is to encourage a positive change in the lives of young people. It works by first laying down a foundation of strength and conditioning training for athletes and coaches. And then offers support for the coaches through materials used to help increase safety and effectiveness in the sports programs.
Bigger, Stronger, Faster is used in helping to unify students and coaches from every sport under the same strength training program while striving for the ultimate goal of greatness. BSF teaches athletes the proper training for core lifts, speed, flexibility, and educates in nutrition. Come the start of the 2019-2020 Hackett school year, these Hornets are looking forward to showing off the results of this program.
