Scott County fifteenth Circuit Court Judge Jerry Don Ramey has issued an order of continuance in the case of James Bynum.
Bynum was scheduled for trial on Monday, March 25. Judge Ramey granted the continuance so that the state would have more time to prepare their case.
Bynum’s case was reversed and remanded back to Scott County by an Arkansas Court of Appeals in December 2018. His original charges include 10 counts of felony sexual assault in the fourth degree and two counts of felony sexual assault in the second degree.
