Pictured above, Mansfield U12 Soccer poses with their championship trophy.
In notable fashion, the Mansfield U12 & U10 soccer clubs took home the hardware in a season ending championship tournament held at Mansfield this past Saturday.
This event was the first of it’s kind for the teams, and for Mansfield Soccer. With a rich tradition of winning, even being undefeated, Mansfield Soccer proved it’s players, parents, and coaches came to play, and win it all.
Teams from Paris, Booneville, and Ozark descended upon Mansfield soccer fields for end of season play. Both Mansfield U10 & U12 took their winning strategies from last year into this season and carried them into their season ending crowning CHAMPIONS!
U12 & U1O head coach, Rich Patterson stated, “Mansfield Soccer has become the teams to beat each Fall. Our history, and reputation of being fierce on the soccer field has been met with rivalries, and hard-fought wins. We’re thankful for being able to play the sport we love, and carry this winning tradition into another year.”
Notable: In the short history of Mansfield Soccer, multiple teams have went undefeated for several years. Some of which have wins with an overall average of 9 goals.
Congratulations Mansfield Soccer, Coaches, Players, and Parents.
