The Mansfield Senior High Tigers hosted the Charleston Tigers in a conference game Friday night, taking a tough loss with a final score of 42-17 favoring Charleston.
Mansfield Senior High Football Coach, Craig Bentley had the following to say.
“Very proud of our kids for the way that they handled themselves the whole season. We came out tonight and played hard, and left everything we had on the field.
Charleston is a dangerous team and will do well in the State playoffs. Our kids have faced many challenges since we started this thing back in the middle of July and never made any excuses. We continued to work hard starting the building blocks for a program that our town and school can be proud of.”
Joseff Buccella gained 129 yards on 23 carries to take himself over the 1000 mark for the season. He had 15 rushing touchdowns this year. Spencer Davis finished his great career with a interception and receiving touchdown.
Go Tigers!
