Colmon Haga of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday, January 9, 2022 in Waldron, Arkansas with family by his side. Colmon was born February 16, 1947 in Waldron, Arkansas to Otto and Lee Ora (McGar) Haga. He was 74 years old. Colmon attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Waldron, Arkansas. He was a Godly man and strong in his faith.
 
Colmon grew up in and around the Waldron area. He was a heavy equipment operator and loved welding. He enjoyed his work and was good at what he did. Colmon was a member of the F&AM Masonic Lodge #132 in Waldron, Arkansas where he had served as past Master. Colmon was a kind person with a sweet disposition. He was a jokster and giving people a hard time was what he did best. He enjoyed making his loved ones smile and making sure they knew how much he loved them. Family, friends and his dog Lucy meant the world to Colmon and he looked forward to time spent with them. Colmon married his love and companion Verla Bullock and together they spent 8 years, traveling, and spending time just enjoying life together. 

Colmon leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 8 years, Verla Bullock Haga, two daughters: Crystal Blowe and husband Ricky of Virginia and Angie Bryant and husband Alex of Georgia and three daughters in love: Marquita Hattabaugh and husband Steve of Waldron, Arkansas, Gina Epperson and husband Tracy of Mansfield, Arkansas and Denise Thompson of Barling, Arkansas. Pawpaw will forever remain in the hearts of his grandchildren: Savanah Crawford (Brett), Skyler Blowe (Kamryn), Lil’ Alex Bryant (DeLacey), Beau Bryant (McKenzie) and Bailee Bryant (Jordan Chambers) as well as a host of grandchildren in love. Colmon is also survived by two sisters: Lucille Collin of Oklahoma and Ruth Haga of Arkansas. Colmon will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives he impacted including a host of extended family, friends and neighbors he loved dearly.

Colmon was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Lee Ora, two sisters, Virginia Haga and Mabel Frost.

Colmon’s life celebration will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 14, 2022 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Wally Beckman officiating. Interment will follow in the Square Rock Cemetery in Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Colmon’s pallbearers will be Alex Bryant, Ricky Blowe, Beau Bryant, Lil’ Alex Bryant, Brett Crawford and Jordan Chambers. Honorary pallbearer will be grandson Skyler Blowe who is currently deployed serving in the United States Army National Gurard.

Colmon’s visitation will be Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas.
