Krista Denise Barker passed from this life Saturday January 7, 2017 in Waldron, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family and friends. Krista was born November 8, 1980 in Booneville, Arkansas. Krista was 36 years old.
Krista loved time spent outside doing things in the sun. She loved to play softball and go swimming. She also loved to go hunting. Most of all she loved her children and granddaughter.
Krista leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters: Alyssa Barker of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Emily Barker of Waldron, Arkansas and one son, Bryson Barker of Waldron, Arkansas. Nene also leaves behind one grandaughter, Reagen also of Waldron, Arkansas. Krista will forever remain in the hearts of her mother and farther, Debbie and Rick Owens of Waldron, Arkansas, two brothers Dustin Owens and Zach O’Hagan both of Waldron, Arkansas, and one nephew, Dawson Owens of Waldron, Arkansas.
Krista is preceded in death by her grandmother, Esther Holmes and great aunt, Elaine Shook.
Krista’s memorial life celebration service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the New Life Center in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Konnor McKay officiating.
Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
