Sally Fern White of Parks, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, December 8, 2019 in Waldron, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. Sally was born March 28, 1935 in Stringtown, Oklahoma in Atoka County to Millard and Mammie Mitchel. She was 84 years old.

Sally was a kind and generous lady. She enjoyed many hobbies from fishing, croqueting, and cooking, to playing bingo and dominoes. But her biggest joy came from the love she had with her family. She loved spending time with them and taking care of them and making memories to treasure forever.

Sally leaves behind to cherish her memory, one son, Mike White of Waldron, Arkansas, one granddaughter, Madison White of Parks, Arkansas and one great granddaughter, Kamilla White. Sally is also survived by her siblings: Margaret Hogan, Helen Shields, Irma Rains, Rena Workman and Glen Mitchel. Sally will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives she impacted including a host of extended family, friends, neighbors and loved ones.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband Kermit White, her parents, Millard and Mammie Mitchel, one daughter, Carol White, one daughter-in-law, Darla White, one sister, Janice Edge and one brother, Richard Mitchel.

Sally’s life celebration will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 13, 2019 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Rickey Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the Hawkins Cemetery in Parks, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Sally’s pallbearers will be Nathan Franklin, Bubba Sparks, Charlie Allen, Dale Tanner, Bobby Chrisman and Bob Ammons. Honorary pallbearers will be Virginia Yandell, Sarah Weatherly and Van Hattabaugh.

Sally’s visitation will be Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
