If you didn’t get the chance to watch our areas newly created Ouachita Reapers semi-pro football team play their first game of the season last weekend then have no fear. This Saturday, March 30, the Reapers will be hosting the Dallas Bulldogs at Sawyer Wright field in Waldron, Arkansas at 3 p.m.

Owner and part-time Coach, Wesley Allen Schuller, fills us in on how he and the Reapers are feeling about their upcoming encounter with the Bulldogs. “Most of my guys haven’t played in years, since high school, and for several, this is their first time ever playing. We look forward to playing the Bulldogs and the challenge we know they will bring us. The Dallas area is a very large area and constantly produces great athletes so we know it will be a great challenge. We have to play smart, fundamentally sound football for all 4 quarters and control the clock.”

The Dallas Bulldogs have been up and running for over a decade. They have won many championships and will definitely be a force to be reckoned with. Head Coach for the Dallas Bulldogs, Robert Wright, tells us what we can expect from his top-performance players. “The Dallas Bulldogs are looking forward to coming to town. We are 5 times League Champions and a 1 time National Champions Organization. We pride ourselves on playing the game the right way. You will see excitement from the first whistle to the end of the game.”

If you find yourself looking for something to do and you’re wanting to watch some high-energy semi-pro football, then head to Waldron and support our local area Ouachita Reapers. These teams put their blood, sweat, and tears into what they do for the love of the game. So let’s say thank you by showing up and showing support!
