The Mansfield Recycling Center is set to re-open for business on Tuesday, February 18.
According to Mansfield Mayor Buddy Black, the center will only be accepting cardboard and #2 plastics, such as milk jugs, initially. More items will be accepted at a later date.
The gate for the center will be open during hours of operation: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. and the first Saturday of each month from 9 a.m.-noon.
There will be an employee to man the recycling center, located at 601 E. Center Street in Mansfield.
