At the regularly scheduled meeting of the Sebastian County Fire Association meeting, held on Thursday evening, April 21, long-standing President Gary Lawrence was honored for his years of service.
Lawrence, who had served as President for many years, stepped down from that position last month.
The association also honored former Vice President Noel Yowell and former County Training Officer Duane Logsdon for their leadership roles within the association.
Members voted unanimously to appoint Gina Condren from White Bluff’s VFD as President. The new board will also consist of Lawrence as Vice President, and Paul Sanders from Lavaca’s VFD as Training Officer. Mary Yowell from E.M.P. VFD will continue to serve as Secretary/Treasurer.
