Fort Smith Symphony String Quartet made it’s annual visit to Mansfield Middle School on Thursday, January 31st.
The quartet featured two violinist, one viola, and one cello. The quartet performed for multiple composed music from Russian, Europe, and the United States.
They played four musical numbers for the captive 5th grade audience, but was highlighted by their rendition of Coldplay’s Viva La Vida.
The 5th graders were attentive and excited about the quartet’s ability to calm anyone down, the teacher’s enjoyed the calming affect of the music as well.
