<p>Doris Jean (Barto) Graves of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, November 5, 2023 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Doris was born May 18, 1945 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Walter Beckhold and Elsie (Brooks) Barto. At the young age of 5 Doris was adopted by Ernest Steve Barto. She was 78 years old. Doris was an instrumental element and longtime member of Evening Shade Baptist Church near Waldron. She later was attending Harvest Church in Waldron.</p>



<p>Doris was a talented musician. She was exceptional in playing many different instruments well. Everything from the organ and accordion to the auto harp as well as singing. She also had many interest and hobbies including fishing, 4-wheeling and shooting. Doris was notorious for her leatherwork and sewing abilities. Doris had a fashion sense of her own and took pride in everything she did. However, nothing pleased her more than spending time with her family making treasured memories.</p>



<p>Doris leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Melissa Graves Sneed of Shawnee, Oklahoma and husband Bobby, one son Robert Graves and wife Kara of Waldron, Arkansas and sisters Barbara Russell and husband John of Waldron, Arkansas and Dorothy Bartuska and husband David of Pennsylvania and one sister-in-law Tammy Becktold of Pennsylvania. Grandma will forever remain in the hearts of her grandchildren: Tyler graves and fiance&#8217; Elizabeth, Kalie Graves and wife Kimberlee Barber Graves and Scotlyn Shelton and one great granddaughter Paislee Barber.</p>



<p>Doris was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Graves, her parents, Elsie Barto and Steve Barto and Walter Becktold as well as her siblings: Dwayne Barto and Richard Becktold.</p>



<p>Doris&#8217; celebration of life will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Harvest Church in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Bill Harwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Square Rock Cemetery. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.</p>



<p>Doris&#8217; visitation will be Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas.</p>



<p>Doris&#8217; pallbearers will be Bobby Sneed, Bobby Slaten, Cecil Oliver, Tyler Graves, Emmett Jones and JD Woodcock.</p>

<p>Jesse Lee Graves of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Tuesday, March 1, 2022 in Paris, Arkansas. Jesse was born April 21, 1954 in Kansas. He was 67 years old.</p>



<p>Jesse was married to the love of his life, Robin Graves. Together they raised two sons and enjoyed being grandparents to two granddaughters. Jesse was a diesel mechanic and that was also his life&#8217;s work. When he had time, Jesse did enjoy going fishing.</p>



<p>Jesse leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 47 years, Robin of the home, Jerrod Graves of Waldron, Arkansas and Jason Graves and wife Stacey of Jacksonville, Florida. Jesse will forever remain in the hearts of his two granddaughters: Samantha and Danielle. Jesse will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives he impacted including a host of extended family and friends he loved dearly.</p>



<p>Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, and several siblings.</p>



<p>A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date.</p>

<p>Jerry Taft Graves of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday January 28, 2021 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Jerry was born October 7, 1935 in Waldron, Arkansas to Hurman Fay Graves and Nellie Opal (Taft) Graves.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Jerry was a hard working man who loved spending time with his family. He loved working with his cattle. He was a member of the Evening Shade Baptist Church. Jerry retired from the Department of Soil Conversation but he was a self taught welder and did it as a hobby. Because of his talent he was sought after for projects by people all over.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Jerry leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Doris Jean (Barto) Graves, his son Robert Graves and wife Kara of Waldron, Arkansas, his daughter Melissa Graves Shelton of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Papaw will forever remain in the hearts of his grandchildren: Robert Tyler Graves, Kalie Graves and wife Kimberlee, Rayan Butterworth, Nicholas Butterworth, Aaron Butterworth.</p>



<p>Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Hurman Fay Graves and Nellie Opal &#8220;Taft&#8221; Graves.</p>



<p>Jerry&#8217;s life celebration will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2021 at Square Rock Cemetery in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Bobby Cagle officiating. Interment will follow. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.</p>



<p>Jerry&#8217;s visitation will be Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.</p>
