If you’ve spent time around Adam Hecox, you would understand his quiet and humble demeanor. He doesn’t draw attention to himself, or his selfless actions. Those qualities are a few elements that make Adam special to our community, and the definition of pride.
Regardless of the weather, you will find him outside cleaning up the sidewalks of Main Street, cutting grass or picking up trash along the bleachers at Mansfield Middle School, just to name a few. When he’s not giving his time to make Mansfield look better, you can find him coaching one of many sports, or walking the family dog, to and from school with his wife, and kids.
Everything Hecox does, is done quietly with no social network status pointing to what he’s done, or currently doing. His actions are done in the shadows, and with a full heart.
Recently, Hecox utilized his talents to “paint pride” at Johnny Cake Ball Fields. He has already been enlisted by Mansfield Schools to paint inside locker rooms, and hallways. His talents go far beyond a public servant, Father, and Coach.
RP wrote another story on Hecox’s action that made a huge impact on a young boy. Read it HERE
Thank you, Adam for setting an amazing example to our youth, and your efforts to show the definition of community.
