With the new year comes new year resolutions and the Mansfield Tigers are an unstoppable combination with high hopes and big dreams. The Jr High and Sr High Tigers will travel to Danville for a non-conference basketball game against the Little Johns on January 3 at 3 pm.
The Jr High Lady Tigers are sitting on a 2-4 conference play record with the Jr High Tigers coming in at 4-2. The Jr Tigers are led by Coach Kent Elmore while the Jr Lady Tigers are coached by Erica McKay. Both teams are ultra talented and hold the perfect recipe for success.
The Sr High Tigers ended their year playing in the Bill Frye Classic. The Sr High Lady Tigers are headed by Coach Joshua Bryan and will start their year with a 0-5 conference play record. The Sr High Tigers who are coached by Keith Dake will pick back up in their season with a conference record of 1-4.
Both Sr High Little John teams are riding high undefeated 4-0. The Tigers aren’t worried about the Little Johns stats though. All good things must come to an end and the Tigers plan to be the unhappy ending to the Little Johns Cinderella season.
