The special meeting of the Waldron School Board was held at the Central Office Building on Monday, March 15, 2021, at 6 p.m. Board members present were Clay Woodall, Angela Hunsucker, Mac Davis, and Christi Johnston. Board member Tammye Sherrill was not present for the meeting. Others present were Superintendent Daniel Fielding and Kim Solomon.
Vice-President Woodall called the meeting to order at 6:16 p.m.
A motion was made by Johnston and seconded by Davis to terminate the contract of Melissa Kaupp as of March 15, 2021. Motion carried 4-0.
A motion was made by Hunsucker and seconded by Johnston to adjourn. Motion carried 4-0. The meeting adjourned at 6:18 p.m.
Kaupp has been employed as a high school science teacher with the district since August of 2019.
