In their previous meeting, Hackett delivered Decatur a punishing 58 – 27 defeat. This time around, just more of the same. The final score between Hackett and Decatur was a 40 – 0 blowout in Hackett’s favor.
It was the 2nd week in a row Hackett held their opponents scoreless and the 3rd time out of 5 games this season. The Hornets have given up 39 points on the season  (33 of those in one game) while averaging 37 points per contest.
The win got Hackett up to 4-1. The defeat kept Decatur winless and dragged its record down to 0-5.
The teams are out to raise these records in their next games. Hackett will battle it out against Danville on Friday at 7:00 PM.
