Rebecca Kathleen Cope of Packsaddle, Arkansas passed from this life, Sunday, October 22, 2017 in Waldron, Arkansas. Rebecca was born November 9, 1966 in Jacksonville, Florida to Richard C. Doerr and Sherian Kaye (Elam). Rebecca was 50 years old.
Rebecca enjoyed shopping. She especially loved being a long distance truck driver. She has been known to drive with the best of them. Rebecca could back a big truck better than most men. She was a big cut up and enjoyed a good joke. She also enjoyed listening to a diverse range of music. Rebecca was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She looked forward to spending time with her family and making memories to be treasured.
Rebecca leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, James Cope of the home, one son, Ryan Keith Doerr and wife Helyn Marie of Packsaddle, Arkansas. Grandma will forever remain in the heart of her granddaughter, Trinity. Rebecca is also survived by her mother and step father, Sherian Dyson and Robert Glen of New Mexico, one sister, Kristy Blankenship of Heavener, Oklahoma, two step sisters: Kimberly Jones of Texas, Debra Dyson of Waldron, Arkanas and one step brother, Gary Dyson of Texas, her mother-in-law Cindi Withers of Gastonia, North Carolina and father-in-law James T. Cope and wife Terry of Gastonia, North Carolina. Rebecca will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives she impacted including a host of extended family, friends and loved ones.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her father, Richard Doerr and her maternal grandparents, James and Sammie Elam.
Rebecca’s life celebration will be at 10: 00 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Waymon Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the Freedom Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
Rebecca’s pallbearers will be Bradley Sneed, Nathan Sneed, Thomas Fish, Robert Walker, Johnny Lamb and Timothy Wilson Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Damon Cook and Ryland Stonehocker.
Rebecca’s visitation will be Friday, October 27, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home where Rebecca’s family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
