The Waldron Police Department will participate in the 16th annual Arkansas Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 27 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Officers from the Waldron Police Department will be at Harps Foods accepting unused, expired, or unwanted prescription medications. Please note that syringes, inhalers and ointments will not be accepted during the Drug Take Back Event.
The medications will be collected and sent to DEA for proper destruction. This event is part of a national effort to get prescription drugs safely gathered and destroyed. For more information, you can visit the official Drug Take Back website.
