Ever lick the middle out of an Oreo? I have a son that does! Then, later I find a pile of Oreos sides laying around. You never know what you will find around the Boyd House. That’s for sure!

I will never forget the Christmas that God brought us our Baby #3. Bubba was supposed to arrive on December the 27th for a scheduled C-section. However, he had other plans and wanted to make it in time for Christmas.

Ladies, we all know what it’s like those final moments before the baby arrives. We are ready and miserable. I remember telling my husband it was time for a 4-wheeler ride. We bundled up and went for a ride. I told him to hit every bump along the way. However, I still didn’t go into labor. I drank cinnamon tea. I had found that idea on the internet. No luck. I bounced on a yoga ball watching Hallmark Christmas movies. No luck.

Finally, on December the 21st, four days before Christmas, I laid in bed that night thinking, “I might actually be in labor.” I woke my husband up that morning on the 22nd and told him to call his dad (his boss at work too) and ask him if we go to the hospital now, would he still get his holiday pay?

His dad laughed and said, “Son, if she is in labor, y’all might want to go on to the hospital.”
I leaned over and told my father-in-law on the phone, “I think I can wait a little longer if he needs to go on into work.”
He told us, “No. Just go on to the hospital.”
We arrived and sure enough I was in labor.

However, we had a slight problem. I am a bit of a procrastinator. I never wrap any presents until the day before Christmas Eve, and now I was stuck at the hospital in labor! So, Christmas was in trouble! How can Santa appear with no presents wrapped or even all the presents bought and delivered!? I had not even finished shopping! I still had two kids that would be expecting an arrival from Santa! I frantically called my parents and luckily, they came to my rescue and wrapped all the presents for Santa to show up!  They apparently didn’t care to rummage through my closet to find what they needed to wrap! Christmas was saved!

My tiny bundle of joy, Thomas Bailey…a.k.a Bubba, arrived December 22nd and we left the hospital on Christmas Eve, just in time to enjoy Christmas with our new family of five. It even started to snow that night! It was a white Christmas with my new baby boy!

So in honor of Baby #3, Bubba, and for Day #6 of “Oh Fudge!” I bring you Bubba’s Cookies and Cream Fudge!

Bubba’s Cookies and Cream Fudge
Ingredients:
3 cups of White Chocolate Chips
20 Oreos Cookies crushed
7 oz jar of Marshmallow Fluff
14 oz can of Sweetened Condense Milk
1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

Directions:
Line a 8×9 pan with foil or parchment paper. Then, spray it with cooking spray.

Next, melt chocolate, milk, and marshmallow cream in a microwave-safe glass bowl and heat for 90 seconds. Remove the bowl and stir. Stir continuously until it is melted and smooth. Return to the microwave for 15 seconds if needed to melt more. But, do not overcook. Once melted, quickly stir in the vanilla.

Fold in the crushed Oreos and stir. Pour the fudge mixture into the pan. Refrigerate for 3 hours until firm. Store fudge in the refrigerator for the best flavor.
I also sprinkled some crushed Oreos on top to decorate it! Enjoy Bubba’s Fudge!
