Mansfield School District on Lockdown

The Mansfield School District will be on a campus-wide lockdown today, Tuesday, December 4. Area law enforcement continue their search for three of the four escaped juveniles from the Mansfield treatment facility.
Parents and guardians of the district were contacted by the district with a blanket text message informing them that “we (the district) will start our day…on lockdown due to the escapees from the juvenile camp still being at large. Students will not be allowed outside the buildings in this lockdown situation. If you have questions, please contact the office.”
