The Waldron Police Department have released new details on the story we brought you yesterday. -See related story.
According to the report, on October 15, 2018, the Waldron Police Department initiated a case with the Alcohol and Beverage Control Board. This, following the arrest of a juvenile, who had purchased hard liquor from a residence in Waldron. During the course of the investigation, controlled purchases were made from the suspected residence.
On December 12, the Waldron Police Department, along with agents from the Alcohol Beverage Control Board, executed a search warrant at the suspected residence. During the course of the search numerous amounts of beer and hard liquor were located on the property. The alcohol was seized, along with currency that is believed to have come from the sales of that alcohol.
The case will be presented to the Prosecuting Attorney’s office for the determination of criminal charges.
