In their previous meeting, Booneville delivered Waldron a punishing 36 – 7 defeat. This time around, just more of the same. Booneville crushed Waldron last week, winning 35 – 0. The margin wasn’t a surprise since Booneville is ranked many positions ahead of Waldron in the state.
The win got Booneville up to 6-1. Waldron’s record fell to 3-4 after the loss.
Waldron has been struggling to collect any significant yardage in its past three games, and the team will need to fix this ASAP if it wants to prevent more slippage.
Waldron will square off against Subiaco Academy this Friday at 7:00 PM.
