In accordance with the requirements of Arkansas Code Annotated (6-14-109), notice is hereby given that the annual school election in the Mansfield School District will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, for the following purposes: To elect one member to the school board:
Mansfield School Board Position 3: Trent Hayslip, Adam Hecox (withdrawn but will remain on the ballot), and Jan Carlton
To submit the question of voting a total school tax rate of 40.01 mills on the dollar of the assessed value of taxable property located in this School District. The total proposed school tax levy of 40.01 mills includes 25.0 mills specifically voted for general maintenance and operation, 15.01 mills for debt service previously voted as a continuing debt service tax pledged for the retirement of existing bonded indebtedness. The district may use surplus revenues produced each year by debt service millage for other purposes. THIS REPRESENTS NO CHANGE FROM THE LAST SCHOOL ELECTION.

ABSENTEE VOTING: Absentee Voting is available April 2, 2021 – May 17, 2021 at the County Courthouses listed below. Absentee ballot processing will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Election Day (May 18) in the Sebastian County Elections Office, 40 South 4th St., Fort Smith, Arkansas.
