Dicy Louise Hale of Waldron, Arkansas, born November 23, 1942 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 16, 2026, in Waldron, Arkansas, with her loving family by her side.
Dicy was a devoted homemaker who found great joy in raising and caring for her family. Her home and family were at the heart of her life, and she treasured the many years spent watching her family grow through generations. Dicy also had a love for music and enjoyed playing the piano and singing. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she loved attending church and worshiping her Lord and Savior.
Dicy leaves behind to cherish her memory her three children; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; along with many extended family members and dear friends whom she loved dearly.
Dicy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Don Hale; her parents, Edgar and Elva Suter; and all of her siblings.
Dicy’s Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas, with Rev. Doyle Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Union Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dicy’s grandsons.
Dicy’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to The Springs of Waldron and Gentiva Hospice for the wonderful care, kindness, and compassion they provided to Dicy and her family.
Dicy will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her love of music, and the faith that guided her throughout her life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of the many generations of family and friends who were blessed to know and love her.
