In the final face-off of the day against the Piggott Lady Mohawks, the Lady Hornets had to reach deep down to find every little piece of defensive and offensive skills that they possessed to grab their last two set wins. Although nerve-wracking, Hackett came through and sealed the deal with wins of 25-23 and 25-20. Brooke Holt and Kadence Glass brought in 2 aces apiece of the total 8 aces obtained. 22 kills were earned with Freeman securing 7 of those. Richardson led with 15 digs. And Kenadi Wright brought in 2 blocks.

The Lady Hornets get no time to rest as they will shoot for more net results when they travel to Waldron on September 16 to face the always well-coached tough-as-nails Lady Bulldogs who are sitting 4-1 in conference play. The game will have a start time of 4 p.m.
