The Arvest Foundation recently announced a $5,500 grant to Boles Development Corporation and a $5,000 grant to the City of Waldron.
At the Boles Development Corporation the grant will be used to add new wood fiber surfacing to the city’s playground area and update kitchen appliances at the community center. In Waldron, the funds will be used to add new playground equipment to the city park.

“I am thrilled to present these grants on behalf of the Arvest Foundation. In both Boles and Waldron, these funds will go to improving community spaces where people can gather together,” said Shelley Buckles, branch sales manager for Arvest in Waldron. “It is exciting to be able to help these organizations as they work to improve our communities to bring neighbors together.”
According to a statement on the city of Waldron’s Facebook page, the city said: “Thank you to Arvest Foundation for their donation going toward the new upcoming addition to our City Park. The City of Waldron and Arvest Foundation are excited to add two sets of seesaws to the kid’s playground area. Coming soon!”
