Mansfield hosted their annual city-wide cleanup last Saturday at the Public Works Department, and community members showed up in a big way.
Mayor Mike Gipson stated, “This was an amazing sight to behold. I want to thank the entire community, the staff of the City of Mansfield, and all of those who helped us make this a success.”
Clean-Up Statistics: (74) trucks of all sizes, and (37) trailers of various lengths came in, with (6) large hoppers going out.
With such a large turnout, traffic flow was at a stand still and some participants had to wait over an hour and a half to be unloaded.
“We didn’t have one single complaint on waiting times, and we greatly appreciated their patience” stated Gipson.
