In their previous meeting, Hackett delivered Lavaca a punishing 44 – 14 defeat. This time around, more of the same. Hackett took its contest against Lavaca last week by a conclusive 38 – 14 score.
It was almost as if the Hornets had to prove to something to not only their selves, but collectively as a team from the chants on the sideline, to the chatter on the field.
The win brought Hackett up to 5-3.
