Lavaca Lady Arrows continue to dominate at the net.
The Ladies of Lavaca took on the Leopards from Alpena yesterday in a big conference match. Alpena came into the match with a 6-2 conference record. One match win behind the Arrows who are 7-1 and one match behind Hackett.
The result was the Arrows winning in straight sets to keep pace with Hackett and create some separation from the rest of the conference. With only 3 conference games left before the tournament, it’s looking like the up coming Hackett game will determine who gets the number one seed.

Lavaca is getting stronger with each outing. Coach Headley is very proud of this team, as he should be. He had this to say after last nights game, “I thought it was one of the most complete and clean matches that we have played all year. It was a total team effort and we were able to utilize every player we have. We passed the ball very well and got the ball to our setters. Abby (Glidewell) really set the ball well, and that gave our hitters a lot of great opportunities at a bunch of kills.”
Up next for the Lady Arrows is Alma in a non conference game on Monday night.
As Always,
Go Arrows
