The Mansfield Sr High Lady Tigers made their way to the Hot Springs Convention Center this past Saturday to rock and “roll” their way through their STATE competition. The Lady Tigers competed against 19 other schools in their division and hit with zero deductions, placing 7th out of 20.

The Sr High competed in the Game Day Division which is broken down into three sections. The girls have to show their skills in their fight song chant, band chant, and crowd leading. The teams get judged on their crowd appeal, visual appeal, execution, and overall impression to name a few.

Head Sr High Coach, Ashley Wilson, said of her girls and this year’s season, “It has been a crazy past few months. We started competition practice in August and have been going ever since. It hasn’t been easy and we have hit a few bumps in the road. I am so proud of these girls and of all of the hard work that they have put in!”
