Local RC Track Eyes Growth, and Expansion

Located south of Mansfield, on Highway 378, Old Feedmill Raceway offers something for area youths, and families, that’s both outside, and entertaining. After all, we’re talking about dirt, and fast little machines.
Starting off as something for the Nichols, and Coody families to do with their 6 year old son / grandson Payton, a small dirt pile has now turned into a full scale RC racetrack with many opportunities for growth.
Payton’s Father, Jared Coody stated,  “We really started it for our son, but quickly realized that there isn’t much for people to do in Sebastian and Scott Counties. So, we thought we would bring them some good clean fun.”

The track itself is composed of a clay base which provides a great platform for the RC vehicles to race on. With multiple jumps, and left / right turns to test the RV drivers skill, it’s sure to be a destination spot for birthday parties, and family gatherings.
The Old Feedmill Raceway rents RC trucks, and the track for families, or social gatherings, as well as individuals who need extra practice or to fine tune their skills.
Mike Nichols, Payton’s Grandfather added, “it’s a hoot to watch these kids, and adults race around the track. We’ve seen enough participation, we’re already looking to expand into additional RC areas.”
