Tiger Chess takes “Runner Up”

Mansfield Public Schools hosted students from Atkins and Danville in a chess tournament last week.
Referencing the above image, the Mansfield Elementary Chess Team brought home the Runner Up trophy at last week’s tournament. They represented Mansfield Elementary School very well. Pictured: Angella Kenster, Rafe Jerry, Drew Holland, Zach Chapman, Cole Swanger
The Mansfield Middle School 5th and 6th grade Chess Team (below) also took the Runner Up trophy. Peyton Martin placed 3rd over all.
