In their previous meeting, Mansfield routed Two Rivers 40 – 2. This time around, Mansfield crushed Two Rivers winning 43 – 7.
Despite several players sidelined by injuries, the Tigers were successful in rising to the occasion by the motivation from the sidelines, and crowd. This victory lifted Mansfield to 2-5. The defeat kept Two Rivers winless and dragged its record down to 0-7.
Mansfield will look to defend its home turf against Perryville this Friday at 7:00 PM.
