The City of Mansfield Volunteer Fire Department launched a fill the boot campaign the first Saturday in April. The effort raised over $500.
The funds were put to good use as the department hosted a training event over the weekend. Additionally, remaining funds will be used towards the city sponsored Fourth of July Freedom Fireworks display.
