The Arkansas Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) recognized the Waldron District Court Clerk’s Office with a 2026 Court Data Honor for case-citation filing timeliness in criminal and traffic cases during the annual Arkansas Court Automation Programs (ACAP) Conference on July 24, 2026.

The honor recognizes outstanding achievement in maintaining accurate court records, improving the quality of case information, and ensuring that court data provides a reliable picture of the work of Arkansas courts.

High-quality court data does not happen by accident. It reflects the daily work and attention of the clerk’s office, judges, trial court administrators, attorneys, and other justice system partners who manage cases and ensure that information is accurately reflected in the court record.

DesiRae Hall, Clerk; Jayde Beard, Deputy Clerk; and Sonia Rodriguez, Deputy Clerk, distinguished themselves during the past year through their commitment to accurate case reporting and the effective management of pending cases. Their work, together with the efforts of Judge Daniel B. Thrailkill, Prosecuting Attorneys Mark Johnson and Travis Plummer, as well as many other participating attorneys and individuals working on cases in Scott County, produced exceptional results and earned recognition among courts across Arkansas.

Statement from Clerk DesiRae Hall:

“I am incredibly proud of this recognition and, most importantly, proud of the work our office does every day. Accurate court records are not simply a clerical responsibility; they are a fundamental part of an effective and trustworthy justice system.

“Since earning my Certified Court Manager designation through the National Center for State Courts in 2022, I have continued to place a strong emphasis on accountability, organization, accuracy, and finding ways to continually improve the way our office serves the court and our community. This recognition is a wonderful affirmation of those efforts.

“I am grateful to our staff and to the judge, court personnel, and justice system partners who work alongside us. It is an honor for the Scott County District Court Office and divisions for Scott County, the City of Waldron, and the City of Mansfield to be recognized among courts across Arkansas, and we are proud to represent Scott County as a whole.”

Scott Graves, Director of the Office of Research and Justice Statistics (ORJS), praised the achievement.

“Reliable court data is essential to an effective justice system. It helps courts manage their work, gives judicial leaders an accurate understanding of their caseloads, and ensures that the information we provide to the public can be trusted. This award reflects the exceptional commitment of DesiRae Hall, District Clerk, her staff, and the justice system partners in Scott County. We are proud to recognize the results of their work.”

The recognition was announced during the closing session of the annual ACAP Conference, which brings together court and clerk personnel from across Arkansas. ACAP supports Arkansas courts through technology, technical assistance, public access to court information, and the development of online court services.

The Arkansas Administrative Office of the Courts is proud to recognize the Waldron District Court Clerk’s Office for its leadership, diligence, and commitment to maintaining court records that accurately reflect the work of Arkansas’s justice system.

The mission of the Arkansas Administrative Office of the Courts is to support the Arkansas Judiciary and judicial branch employees and to assist attorneys and members of the public who rely upon an independent state court system that is efficient, accessible, and fair to all.
